Russian Emergency Ministry says 2 of its employees killed, 15 injured in series of Ukrainian drone attacks on city of Luhansk

MOSCOW (AA) - Two people were killed and 15 others injured in a series of Ukrainian drone attacks, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on Tuesday.
The two fatalities were ministry employees who were engaged in clearing rubble and extinguishing fires caused by a previous Ukrainian strike on an asphalt plant in Luhansk, the statement read.
The deceased were identified as Mikhail Pronko, the deputy chief of the regional Fire Extinguishing Service, and senior firefighter Dmitry Savenko.
The ministry also reported that 15 other employees were injured in the attack, with 13 of them being hospitalized for serious injuries.
