Russian defense minister inspects implementation of state defense order

MOSCOW (AA) – Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu on Tuesday inspected the implementation of the state defense order at an air defense system production plant in the city of Ulyanovsk.

"The defense minister of the Russian Federation, army General Sergey Shoygu, checked the fulfillment of the state defense order (SDO) at the enterprise of the Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense Concern in the city of Ulyanovsk," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Shoygu inspected the workshops for the production of modern medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems Buk-M3 and presented awards to the plant employees engaged in the maintenance and repair of equipment in areas of the "special military operation."
