Russian, Kazakh presidents discuss development of economic ties and trade
Vladimir Putin, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlight dynamic growth of interstate relations

MOSCOW (AA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed the development of economic ties and trade during a phone call on Thursday, the Kremlin said.
"The conversation covered key aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in trade, economics, and energy, in accordance with agreements reached during the Russian president's state visit to Kazakhstan in November 2024," the Kremlin said in a statement.
In a separate statement, Kazakhstan's Akorda press service highlighted the growth of interstate relations between Kazakhstan and Russia, emphasizing their foundation in friendship, good-neighborliness, and alliance.
"The presidents discussed trade and economic cooperation, underscoring the successful implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest level," the statement read.
