Russia's budget deficit at $3.6B

MOSCOW (AA) - The budget deficit of Russia was at 331 billion rubles ($3.6 billion) during the January-August period.

The country's budget revenues totaled 23.03 trillion rubles ($255.46 billion) in the eight-month period, while budget spending amounted to 23.36 trillion rubles ($259.12 billion).

Russia's non-oil and non-gas revenues were at 15.47 trillion rubles ($171.6 billion) while oil and gas revenues totaled 7.55 trillion rubles ($83.75 billion).

The country's budget deficit was at 3.24 trillion rubles ($35.94 billion) in 2023.
