Senior Turkish diplomat to visit Qatar-Turkish combined joint force command

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish deputy foreign minister will pay visit to Qatar on Dec. 14-15 "upon the invitation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi," according to a Turkish Foreign Ministry statement on Tuesday.

Yasin Ekrem Serim will have meetings with Qatari counterparts Al Khulaifi and Lolwah Rashid Al Khater, as "various aspects of bilateral relations and regional developments will be discussed."

Selim "will also visit Qatar-Turkish Combined Joint Force Command as well as the Turkish Police Task Force which is contributing to the security of the World Cup," added the statement.
