BERLIN (AA) – A gunman, who opened fire at a high school and seriously wounded a person, has been arrested, German police said on Thursday.
“I can confirm that the suspect is arrested,” police spokeswoman Nadine Laue told reporters, following the shooting incident at the Lloyd High School in the northern city of Bremerhaven.
A female employee of the school was seriously injured in the attack and admitted to a hospital in the city, daily Bild reported.
The motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
