ODESA, Ukraine (AA) — At least one person was killed and 18 injured early on Sunday in a Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Odesa, a local official announced.
Four of those injured were children, Oleg Kiper, regional military administration head, said on Telegram, adding that infrastructure, as well as residential and religious buildings had been damaged.
The city's Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Cathedral was also damaged in the attack, Kiper said.
He added that the injured were receiving treatment in the hospital.
