Ten-man Tottenham Hotspur took a 1-0 away win against Luton Town on Saturday to top the English Premier League table.
Dutch defender Micky van de Ven scored the winning goal for Spurs in the 52nd minute at the Kenilworth Road.
Near the end of the first half, Tottenham Hotspur's Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma was sent off for diving. It was his second yellow card to leave the game.
Spurs, who had to play with 10 men in the second half, secured a narrow win to top the Premier League with 20 points in eight matches.
Defending champions Manchester City are second with 18 points, and third-place Arsenal have 17 points before their critical game in London.
Man City will visit Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium later on Sunday.
