At least 11 people were killed and 14 others missing as heavy rain and flood hit the Liaoning province in northeastern China, state-run media said on Friday.
Heavy rain that caused floods in Huludao in the coastal province also affected thousands of people in the region, state outlet Global Times reported.
So far, 188,757 people have been affected, with around $1.45 billion in damage to infrastructure.
Rescue official are reportedly struggling to evacuate affected people to safe places.
On Thursday, heavy rain and flood also disrupted rail service and flights in China's economic powerhouse Guangdong province, and authorities evacuated over 86,000 people to safety.
