DAKAR, Senegal (AA) - At least 13 terrorists were killed Thursday when they attacked a security unit in northeastern Burkina Faso.
During the clash, three soldiers of the Barani gendarmerie unit were also killed, according to local media.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and six others injured by unidentified gunmen in an attack on a gold mine in northern Yatenga province.
Gold mines in the West African country have recently been targeted by armed attacks.
