JERUSALEM (AA) - At least 19 Israeli soldiers were wounded over the past 24 hours, including 13 in ground battles in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said on Friday.

Figures released by the army showed that 194 soldiers have been killed and 1,191 others have been injured since Israel expanded its ground offensive in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 27.

According to the figures, 530 soldiers have been killed and 2,649 others injured since the outbreak of the Gaza conflict on Oct. 7.

The Israeli army stated that 402 soldiers were seriously injured, 689 were moderately injured, and 1,558 were slightly injured.

According to the army data, 410 soldiers and officers are still receiving treatment in hospitals, including 46 in serious condition, 254 in moderate condition, and 101 in minor condition.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas which Tel Aviv says killed 1,200 people.

At least 24,762 Palestinians have since been killed, mostly women and children, and 62,108 injured, according to Palestinian health authorities.

The Israeli offensive has left 85% of Gaza’s population internally displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine, while 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure was damaged or destroyed, according to the UN.
