IDLIB (AA) – Two children were killed and one civilian was injured in an attack on Tuesday by Syrian forces in western Aleppo, local sources said.
According to civilian defense sources, Syrian regime forces stationed at the 46th brigade base in western Aleppo, along with Iranian-backed foreign terrorist groups, attacked the village of Kefernurant with surface-to-surface weapons.
The wounded was transported to a nearby hospital.
Syria has been embroiled in a vicious civil war since early 2011 when the Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with unexpected ferocity.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed and more than 10 million others displaced, according to UN estimates.
