ISTANBUL (AA) - The Iraqi government said Friday that two foreigners were killed in a “sabotage attack” that targeted a gas field in the province of Sulaymaniyah in northeastern Iraq.
The Security Media Cell of the prime minister’s office said the drone attack targeted the Khor Mor gas field that also injured two other foreigners. All of the casualties have Asian nationalities.
It added that the Iraqi Joint Operations Command formed a technical investigation committee to look into the circumstances of the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
