BERLIN (AA) - Two girls were injured in a knife attack at a primary school in Berlin, authorities said Wednesday.
Police said the girls, aged 7 and 8, were seriously injured in the attack.
“The school was searched by our colleagues and all other students were handed over to their parents,” police wrote on Twitter.
A 39-year-old male suspect was arrested near the school ground in the Neukolln district.
There was no immediate detail on the suspect's motive or if he was known to the victims.
