BEIRUT (AA) - Two people were injured in an Israeli airstrike in the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, according to Lebanese media.
An Israeli drone hit a car on the Al-Housh-Tyre Road, the state-run National News Agency reported.
Ambulances were seen rushing to the site of the attack.
No details were yet available about the identities of the injured individuals.
Tensions have soared along Lebanon's border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv pressed ahead with its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 37,900 people since Oct. 7 last year.
