Two people were killed as a trainer aircraft crashed in Iran's eastern Alborz province on Tuesday, local media reported on Wednesday.
The Piper PA-28 type aircraft, crashed into a mountain in Savojbolagh county, according to the official IRNA news agency.
The victims of the crash were identified as an instructor pilot and a student.
The crash occurred on Tuesday and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area to find the crashed plane and possible survivors.
The cause of the crash has yet to be ascertained.
