BEIRUT (AA) — At least two people were killed and another wounded in an Israeli raid on Friday that targeted a house in a town in southern Lebanon.
Two civilians were killed and another injured in the Israeli raid on the town of Ayta al-Shaab, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.
In a separate incident, the agency reported, Israeli forces targeted "a house in the town of Kfarkela near the separation wall with the occupied territories."
Israeli warplanes also launched a raid on a house in the town of Tair Harfa, it added.
Since Oct. 8 last year, the Israeli-Lebanese border has experienced intermittent tension and sporadic exchanges of fire between the Israeli army on one side and Hezbollah and Palestinian factions on the other. This has resulted in fatalities and injuries on both sides and among Lebanese civilians.
