ISTANBUL (AA) - At least two people were killed Wednesday in a shooting outside the office of a top Russian online retailer in Moscow.

Russian state news agency Tass, citing law enforcement agencies, reported that a group of 20 - 30 people began to break the glass at the entrance of a business center in central Moscow. The center houses an office of Russian online retailer, Wildberries.

The report, based on preliminary information, said one person was killed and two were injured in the shooting. Tass later reported that one of two security guards who were wounded had died.

A subsequent report, citing the press service of the company, said Vladislav Bakalchuk, the retailer’s co-owner and ex-husband of Tatyana Bakalchuk, Wildberries’ founder and majority owner, was among the group.

Russia’s Investigative Committee told state news agency RIA that personnel arrived at the scene, and are working to clarify the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

RIA, citing law enforcement agencies, said about 30 people were detained after the shooting.

Wildberries finalized a merger deal with Russ Outdoor Group, a leading Russian outdoor advertisement company in June; Vladislav has opposed the merger.
