ISTANBUL (AA) – Two basketball clashes early this week have been postponed due to COVID-19 related issues, the NBA confirmed Monday.
The games “scheduled for tonight between the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Arena and tomorrow between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls at United Center have been postponed in accordance with the league’s Health and Safety Protocols,” said an announcement at NBA.com.
In a Tweet, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said that both the Mavericks and the Celtics fell short of the minimum number of players.
He also said that the NBA set a special board of governors meeting for Tuesday.
