ANKARA (AA) – At least two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the town of Abu Dis, East Jerusalem on Sunday, according to Palestinian media.

The official Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that “two young men were shot dead by Israeli forces while six others were injured in the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem.”

“Large forces from the occupation army stormed the town of Abu Dis, surrounded a house which caused violent confrontations in the place,” eyewitnesses said.

The Israeli forces also “demolished parts of the besieged house before firing an Energa shell at it, which led to the death of the young man trapped inside the house,” WAFA reported.

The Health Ministry announced the death of Musa Diya Musa Zaarour, 22, as a result of “wounds he sustained during confrontations with the occupation forces in the town.”
