ANKARA (AA) — Two passenger planes made contact near a taxiway in Japan on Saturday morning, causing flight disruptions at Tokyo's Haneda airport, local media reported.
According to local media, the accident occurred near one of the airport's four runways, resulting in its closure, though no injuries were reported.
The two planes involved were operated by Thai Airways and Taiwan's Eva Airways, according to Tokyo-based Kyodo News, citing Japan's Transport Ministry.
"Part of the wing of the Thai Airways plane was chipped," the agency quoted a passenger as saying.
A total of about 460 passengers and crew members were aboard the two aircraft.
