ISLAMABAD (AA) - At least three people were killed when a gold mine collapsed in northeastern Afghanistan, local media reported.
Three workers died following the collapse of a gold mine in the Khost district of Badakhshan province, Tolo News reported.
Local administration official Hikmatullah Mohammadi said the workers were killed when they were washing sand.
In 2019, at least 30 people were killed and 15 others injured when a gold mine collapsed in Badakhshan province.
