BEIRUT (AA) - The Israeli army on Sunday bombarded Al-Risalah Health Emergency Association in Ain Baal town of southern Lebanon, a health care center run by the Amal Movement political party, killing three of its members.

Three people were killed in the Israeli forces attack on a newly established Al-Risalah Health Emergency Association in Ain Baal, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.

The movement, led by Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, released a statement identifying the three as Hassan Shibli, Ahmad Murad, and Sobhi Mousa Shibli.

Israel has mounted a huge air campaign in Lebanon since last month against what it claims are Hezbollah targets in an escalation from year-long cross-border warfare between Israel and the Lebanese group Hezbollah since the start of Israel’s brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip.

Israel expanded the conflict this year by launching an incursion into southern Lebanon on Oct. 1.
