RIYADH (AA) - Four gunmen were killed in a foiled "terrorist" attack on a police station north of Saudi capital Riyadh, according to the Saudi-funded Al-Arabiya television on Sunday.
Al-Arabiya, citing unnamed sources, said the security forces had thwarted the attack on the police station in al-Zulfi, 250 kilometers north of Riyadh.
It said four attackers had been killed, without giving any further details about the attack.
Saudi authorities have yet to issue an official comment on the attack.
