ANKARA (AA) - The 44-year-old Italian football legend, Gianluigi Buffon, signed a new contract extension with Parma, the club tweeted from their official account on Monday.
The Italian goalie penned with the Yellow and Blues until 2024.
"He is not done yet!" Parma tweeted about the new contract.
Gianluigi Buffon started his long and amazing football career in Parma's youth team in 1991.
After he bagged the 1999 UEFA Cup win with Parma, he transferred to Juventus, then Paris Saint-Germain, winning a total of 11 Serie A titles with the former and bagged one Ligue 1 title in 2019 with the latter.
Buffon, regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in football history, bagged the 2006 FIFA World Cup with Italy, of which he is the most capped player in history with 176 caps.
