ISTANBUL (AA) – A strong earthquake shook Vanuatu on Wednesday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GeoFon) said.
GeoFon said the 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Coral Sea near Maewo Island off the Pacific Island nation at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles) at around 07:17 p.m. (0817GMT).
There were no reports of any damage.
