ANKARA (AA) – The northern Philippines and several provinces of China were jolted by a powerful earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale on Tuesday evening.
The shock of the earthquake, which struck the waters of the Philippine Islands at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) at 07:03 p.m. local time (1103GMT), was also felt in several Chinese provinces, including southern Guangdong and eastern Fujian, according to the local daily Global Times.
However, there has been no immediate report of any deaths or property damage.
