BEIRUT (AA) - Six journalists have been rescued out of nine people stranded on the Lebanese side of the border with Israel because of Israel’s continuous firing, the Lebanese official news agency, NNA, reported Thursday.
The area where journalists and civilians are stranded is located in the southern part of Lebanese territory, close to an Israeli military point known as Al Abad.
It is in the town of Al-Houla in the Marjaayoun district of the Nabatieh Governorate that is being constantly fired on by Israel, said NNA.
No further detail was disclosed about the stranded civilians.
