WASHINGTON (AA) - At least eight people were killed and dozens injured when a bus carrying dozens of farm workers in the US state of Florida crashed Tuesday, according to officials.
The bus was carrying around 53 farm workers headed to Cannon Farms when the accident occurred in Marion County, said officials with the Florida Highway Patrol.
The bus left the road and crashed through a fence before it overturned, said officials, who added that 45 of the injured were taken to medical facilities, including eight in critical condition
An investigation has been launched.
