At least eight Palestinians were killed and several others injured early Saturday in Israeli attacks targeting northern and central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources told Anadolu that three Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when Israeli forces shelled the Saftawi neighborhood in northern Gaza City.
Separately, the Palestinian official news agency Wafa reported that Israeli airstrikes also hit a residential building in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing five people and injuring several others.
Despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued a devastating offensive on Gaza since an attack last year by the Palestinian resistance group.
More than 43,200 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 101,800 others injured, according to local health authorities.
Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
