ISTANBUL (AA) – Special machinery from Turkish producer Ademsan Makine is set to enable exterior cleaning and maintenance systems for the Istanbul headquarters of Turkish state lender Vakifbank.
Ademsan Makine, a machine producer with extensive experience tackling challenging projects, was chosen to supply the needed equipment for Vakifbank's headquarters, one of the most singular buildings at Istanbul’s International Finance Center.
The architecture of the ultra-modern building, which provides a kind of visual feast, does complicate its cleaning, the firm said.
For the project, Ademsan's machinery team started to install threaded rods and tracks – requirements for cleaning systems – at the headquarters’ building site.
The headquarters includes two towers with an architectural design inspired by the Anatolian Seljuks and Ottomans. The towers take the form of a 16-point star.
The firm will provide two special machines, the AST-70s, together with a custom basket and 550-kilogram (1,213-pound) crane.
The specially designed systems are set to provide the cleaning and maintenance crews a maximum safety working environment.
