ANKARA (AA) - Adidas has decided to terminate its partnership with Kanye West, also known as Ye, the company announced on their website Tuesday.

"Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech," according to the official statement.

"Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness," it added.

The German sportswear company said they are to end production of Yeezy brand products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies.

Adidas stated they expect a negative impact of €250 million on the company’s net income in 2022.

On Oct. 8, Ye tweeted "going to go death con 3 (sic) on JEWISH PEOPLE" and was then subsequently locked out of Twitter and Instagram.

After talking against Jews during the Drink Champs Podcast earlier this month, West said: "I can say anti-Semitic things, and Adidas can’t drop me."
