ALGERIA (AA) - Algerian President Abdul Majeed Tabun completed treatment for COVID-19 in a German hospital Sunday.
"President Tabun has completed the treatment protocol recommended by doctors," the Algerian presidency said in a statement.
The statement did not say when Tabun, 74, would leave the hospital.
Tabun announced that he had quarantined himself on Oct. 24 after some senior officials in his entourage developed COVID-19 symptoms.
A statement from the presidency on Oct. 28 said Tabun had gone to Germany for some extensive tests.
Later statements said that Tabun's health was improving.
