ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Agency will cover the 2018 FIFA World Cup extensively with correspondents covering daily stories, features, analysis and special interviews.
The agency will provide details of teams, match schedules and World Cup stadiums as well as detailed stories of the 64 matches.
The World Cup will be held between June 14 and July 15 in Russia with 32 teams competing in eight groups.
Anadolu Agency office in Moscow and the agency's sports correspondents will closely follow the World Cup.
Photojournalists will also be assigned to follow the international football contest.
Before and during the World Cup, at least 100 features will be served and 21 of which will have infographics.
Also, infographics about the matches will be given every day.
Anadolu Agency's World Cup stories will be broadcast in 13 languages: English, Arabic, Persian, BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian), French, Spanish, Russian, Macedonian, Indonesian, Albanian and Kurdish dialects of Kurmanji and Sorani.
Separately, news about the tournament will be shared through different hashtags on social media.
Moreover, a new category on Anadolu Agency website has been formed called Russia 2018. Website visitors will have all World Cup-related stories on this link.
