ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish basketball side Anadolu Efes defeated LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne with a 78-72 score on Friday for their 12th victory in the EuroLeague.
Shane Larkin was the highest scorer of his team with 19 points and eight assists at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.
Croatian guard Krunoslav Simon scored 14 points, while German center Tibor Pleiss produced 12 for Efes.
On the losing side, Marcos Knight made a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Chris Jones and Matthew Strazel produced 12 points each.
Efes are in the eighth spot in the league with 12 wins and 11 defeats, while ASVEL Villeurbanne are in 13th with nine victories and 15 losses.
In another EuroLeague match on the same day, CSKA Moscow claimed a 91-72 home win over ALBA Berlin at the Megasport Arena.
Tasting their 14th win, the Russian side dealt ALBA Berlin their 16th defeat in the regular season round 25.
