ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Efes on Friday confirmed that they have parted ways with American guard James Anderson after four seasons.
In a statement, the Istanbul basketball club thanked Anderson for his efforts and services and wished him the best in his professional career.
Anderson, who moved to Anadolu Efes from Russia's BK Khimki in 2018, helped his team clinch two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague titles in 2021 and 2022 and Türkiye's ING Basketball Super Lig trophies in 2019 and 2021.
The 33-year-old averaged 4.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 36 matches in the 2021-22 season.
He formerly made appearances for different NBA sides, including San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, and Sacramento Kings.
