ANKARA (AA) – The 2022 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions in basketball, Anadolu Efes on Wednesday strengthened their squad with the addition of Croatian center Ante Zizic.
Istanbul-based team Anadolu Efes announced on Twitter that Zizic, 25, has sealed a two-year contract with a third-year option with his new club.
Zizic last played for Israel's Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in 2020-2022.
He also helped Maccabi win the 2021 Israeli league. Last season, he averaged 12.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 31 EuroLeague games.
Zizic has previously played for NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and Canton Charge in the NBA G League.
While playing for the Cavaliers, he made it to the 2018 NBA Finals.
He also plays for his native Croatia, and his older brother Andrija is a 2014 EuroLeague champion with Maccabi.
