ANKARA (AA) — Anadolu has initiated a new data center to complete its digital transformation as part of its global journalism vision and to make the news flow secure and faster.

Anadolu, which continues to develop its technological infrastructure with new steps in line with this vision, has undertaken important work to renew its data center.

Anadolu's data center and system infrastructure have been renewed in accordance with current technologies and international standards to ensure that the agency maintains an uninterrupted and secure flow of news and information.

The data center project, designed and implemented by the agency's engineers, was designed to meet data storage and data processing needs that can be integrated with hybrid cloud infrastructure more securely and effectively. Designed with the company's 10-year growth needs in mind, the data center will be able to integrate with developing technologies and infrastructures.

The new data center was designed and built in accordance with "Tier 3" data center standards. With the transition to the data center, the company's critical systems will be protected at the highest level and uninterrupted service will be provided. This standard will ensure the highest level of system reliability and the maintenance of critical business processes under all conditions.

- Energy efficient, secure against cyber attacks

A fire extinguishing system sensitive to temperature, humidity and environmental conditions was also installed to ensure optimum working conditions in the data center, for which energy efficiency will be at the highest level. In this way, a design emphasizing environmental awareness and a small carbon footprint was implemented.

A Cyber Operations Center was also established in the data center complex, which will monitor information systems and networks providing proactive defense against cyber attacks. Expert teams at the center will be able to detect and analyze cyber incidents and intervene quickly and effectively when needed.

Anadolu will continue to provide news to subscribers during the transition to the new data center.
