RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – The Palestinian Health Ministry on Monday confirmed the killing of another two people in the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah, taking the number of casualties in clashes with Israeli forces in West Bank since Oct. 7 to 95, the official WAFA news agency said.
The two individuals were shot by Israeli forces during the raid, the agency said, adding that four others sustained critical injuries. As many as 20 Palestinians were also detained.
Besides bombardment and blockade of the Gaza Strip following a surprise attack by Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7, Israeli forces have intensified raids in the in the occupied West Bank.
Meanwhile, at least 4,651 Palestinians including 1,873 children and 1,023 women, have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, while the figure stands at more than 1,400 people in Israel.
