RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - The Israeli army on Tuesday killed another Palestinian in the Qalandia refugee camp near occupied East Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the Palestinian as Mohammad Manasra, 25, who was killed during an Israeli raid into the camp.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa quoted eyewitnesses as saying Manasra was killed when the Israeli forces blew up his house's door with a bomb when he approached the door to open it for them.
It added that the Israeli forces detained his brother Abdullah before withdrawing from the house.
Late on Monday, the Israeli forces also killed Palestinian Ali Alqam, 32, as they raided the Qalandia refugee camp, and stormed Alqam's house.
With these two recent deaths, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli forces in the West Bank since Oct. 7 has risen to 260, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The total death toll of Palestinians since the start of the year across the West Bank stands at 468.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since fighting broke out on Oct. 7 between Palestinian groups and Israel in Gaza.
