ANKARA (AA) - Tottenham Hotspur signed Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso on loan Thursday.
"We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement for the season-long loan signing of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis with an option to make the transfer permanent," Tottenham said on Twitter alongside a photograph of the 23-year-old wearing a team jersey.
The English Premier League club did not provide information about the deal.
Lo Celso, who holds an Italian citizenship, scored 16 goals in 45 appearances for Real Betis last season.
Before signing with the Spanish team, he played for French football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain, where he won two French league titles.
