SANAA, Yemen (AA) — The Yemeni Houthi group announced Monday that it fired another barrage of armed drones towards Israeli targets.

"A batch of drones" were fired on "sensitive" Israeli targets in the past hours, the Houthis' military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statement.

He said movements in the targeted locations in Israel were stopped, but did not elaborate further.

Saree said the group would carry out further military action in support of Palestinians and until Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip stop.

The Israeli army has yet to comment on the Houthi claims.

In the past few days, the Houthis announced that they had fired explosive-laden drones and cruise missiles towards Israeli targets.

Israel has launched air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 10,022 Palestinians, including 4,104 children and 2,641 women, have been killed in the Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip. Israeli death toll is nearly 1,600, according to official figures.
