ANKARA (AA) - Arsenal consolidated their lead in the English Premier League after second-place Manchester City were beaten Saturday by Brentford 2-1 in a home match.
Ivan Toney scored twice for Brentford, including a stoppage time winner to shock Manchester City at Etihad Stadium.
Toney was named the man of the match.
Man City's English star, Phil Foden, fired a left-footed volley to score their only goal near the end of the first half.
In 13 matches, Arsenal have 34 points before playing Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Manchester City have 32 points in 14 matches to follow the Gunners.
Mid-table Brentford have 19 points.
