ANKARA (AA) - Arsenal got a small advantage over Manchester City, after their 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, in English Premier League, while Napoli got their seventh straight win in Italian Serie A. Barcelona in Spanish La Liga, Paris Saint-Germain in French Ligue 1 and Bayern Munich in German Bundesliga have kept their top seats.
- English Premier League
Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-2 in the English Premier League. The Gunners, which won three weeks later, got 54 points and took the lead once more from Manchester City.
Manchester City drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest away. With this result, the Citizens, which reached 52 points, fell back to the second spot, two points behind Arsenal.
Manchester United, one of the teams struggling for the top of the Premier League, defeated Leicester City 3-0.
At the end of the 24th week, Arsenal with 54 points was followed by Manchester City with 52 points and Manchester United with 49 points.
- Spanish La Liga
In week 22 of the Spanish La Liga, Barcelona defeated Cadiz 2-0 at home.
Ranking first in the top scorer race in La Liga, the Polish star of Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski, increased his goals in La Liga to 15 with a goal he scored in the match.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, defeated Osasuna 2-0 away and continued their struggle for leadership.

In week 23 of the Italian Serie A, Napoli beat Sassuolo 2-0 away. With this win, Napoli extended their league-winning streak to 7 games.
Inter, the closest follower of the leader Napoli, defeated Udinese 3-1. Increasing its points to 47, Inter did not allow the 15-point gap with the leader Napoli to extend.
Milan -- having fallen behind in the title race with the loss of points in the league in the last weeks -- defeated Monza 1-0 away and won their second game in a row in the league.
With this win, Milan, which increased its points to 44 and was 18 points behind the leader Napoli, placed fourth.
While Roma beat Hellas Verona 1-0 at home, Juventus defeated Spezia 2-0 away.
Atalanta lost 1-2 against Lecce in front of his own audience and Atalanta remained in the 6th spot with 41 points.
Finishing week 23 of Serie A at the top with 62 points, Napoli was followed by Inter with 47 points, Roma and Milan teams with 44 points.
- German Bundesliga
Bayern Munich lost 2-3 to Borussia Monchengladbach in an away game in the German Bundesliga. The Bavarians, which got their second defeat this season, had 43 points and continued to lead by goal difference.
Leipzig beat Wolfsburg 3-0, increased its points to 39 and kept its 5th spot.
Struggling for the summit, Borussia Dortmund got a vital 4-1 win at home against Hertha Berlin.
Borussia Dortmund, with their 6th consecutive win in the league, increased their points to 43. Equaling with the leader Bayern Munich, the Black and Yellows rose to the second spot, passing Union Berlin with a goal difference, and became a contender in the summit race.
Union Berlin, on the other hand, had a goalless draw with Schalke 04, regressing to the 3rd spot with 43 points.
After week 21 in the Bundesliga, leader Bayern Munich with 43 points, was followed by Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin, respectively, with the same points.
- French Ligue 1
In week 24 of the French Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Lille 4-3 with a 95th-minute goal.
Olympic Marseille defeated Toulouse 3-2 in the away match. Turkish national Cengiz Under also scored a goal in the 59th minute for Olympic Marseille.
The reigning champion PSG continued to lead with 57 points. Olympic Marseille, with 52 points, took second place and Monaco, with 50 points, took third place.
