ANKARA (AA) - Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has tested positive for COVID-19, the English club announced on Wednesday.
“Mikel Arteta will miss our match against Manchester City on New Year’s Day, after testing positive for COVID-19,” the club said in a statement.
The 39-year-old is isolating himself in line with the government guidelines, the statement added.
Arteta was appointed the head coach of Arsenal on December 2019 after Unai Emery's departure.
