ISTANBUL (AA) - Arsenal extended their lead in the English Premier League to five points after beating Everton 4-0 on Wednesday.
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli (2) and Martin Odegaard scored for the London football club at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are currently five points ahead of second-place Manchester City with 60 points at top of the table, while Everton are 18th with 21 points.
In another Wednesday Premier League clash, Liverpool defeated Wolverhampton 2-0 as the goals came from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah at Anfield Stadium.
The Reds are sixth with 39 points while Wolverhampton are 15th with 24 points.
- Tottenham eliminated from FA Cup
Championship side Sheffield United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 to advance to the FA Cup quarterfinals. Iliman Ndiaye scored the winning goal at Bramall Lane Stadium.
Manchester United beat West Ham United 3-1, while fourth-tier side Grimsby Town surprised Premier League club Southampton 2-1 to reach the FA Cup quarterfinals.
Sheffield United, Manchester United, Grimsby Town, Brighton, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham, Burnley and Manchester City qualified for the next round of the FA Cup.
