ISTANBUL (AA) – Arsenal clinched a 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain with first-half goals in a UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday.
Kai Havertz broke the deadlock with a header for the Gunners in the 20th minute and Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead from a free-kick in the 35th minute at Emirates Stadium.
Eighth-place Arsenal increased their points to four and 18th-place Paris Saint-Germain collected three points.
In another Tuesday match in the Champions League, Bayer 04 Leverkusen secured a narrow win over AC Milan as the goal came from Victor Boniface in the 51st minute at BayArena.
Borussia Dortmund hammered Celtic with a 7-1 result at BVB Stadion Dortmund as Karim Adeyemi scored a hat-trick and Serhou Guirassy netted twice.
Emre Can scored the opener with a penalty kick and Felix Nmecha came off the bench to add one for Dortmund. Celtic's only goal came from Daizen Maeda.
Manchester City defeated Slovan Bratislava 4-0 at Narodny futbalovy stadion with goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and James McAtee.
