ANKARA (AA) - Major Asian stock markets closed mostly higher on Thursday.
The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, rose 0.32% or 9.56 points to 3,953.9.
Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 stock exchange rose 0.70% or 190.77 points to 27,311.30.
The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange, lost 0.42%, or 75.8 points, to 18,012.15.
The Indian Sensex benchmark rose 0.27% or 156.6 points to 58,222.10, while the Singapore index went marginally down 0.05% or 1.67 points to finish at 3,151.56.
Chinese markets are closed due to a Golden Week holiday.
