ANKARA (AA) - Major Asian stock markets closed Tuesday with mixed figures.
The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, rose 0.07% to 3,405.55 points as of 1110GMT.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 gained 1.01% to close at a 15-month high of 29,242.82 points thanks to stronger-than-expected corporate earnings.
The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong exchange, lost 2.12% to reach 19,867.58 points.
China's Shanghai Stock Exchange was down by 1.10% to 3,357.67.
India's Sensex index was flat at 59,727.01, while the Singapore index lost 0.45% to end the day at 3,242.95 points.
