VIENNA (AA) - An Austrian court on Wednesday sentenced a teenager to six months in prison for posting racist and Nazi propaganda on social media platforms.
The Salzburg District Court found the 16-year-old boy guilty of violating the law prohibiting the dissemination of Nazi ideology.
The teenager refused any connection with Nazi ideology and said that he posted those antisemitic and racist content on social media when he was suffering from psychological problems due to childhood trauma.
The court also ordered that the offender be sent to a psychotherapy center.
